Well- the cardinals have really done it this time. They found themselves a safely insane conservative kraut to head the “New Roman Catholic Church” good luck fuckers- your gonna need it. Way to fuck it up boys… like I give a shit… everyone here is so concerned with choosing the right guy- a man who can keep the young people in the church, continue what JPII did… and I was right there with em… it’s important… than, at some point I was like- what the fuck am I talking about?… I hate the Catholic church- AIDS is a huge fucking problem- AND IT’S THEIR FAULT… homosexuals are still fucking in bushes- AND IT’S CUZ OF THEM- and chicks still can’t be a ordained (which is OUR fault actually- fuck man, I got ordained online in like- 5 minutes… you don’t need a bunch of old men in robes panting over 14 year old boys to be a reverend- take it from me.)
A Highlight- (or something like that) I was giving my usually “tour of the city” to Susan and Ian Eastman (wife and son of The Late Great Bob Eastman)… we did the Spanish steps, and the pantheon, and as we were just finishing our wine in the Piazza Navona- all the bells started ringing- I mean- every fucking bell in the city… it was 6:10- no time for normal bells- this only meant one thing- so we jumped up and started a running towards St. Peters- it was amazing- everyone- closing shops and just hauling ass over there. We lost Ian and his camera- he would be fine. And then- Susan, god bless tripped and broke her fucking foot.
I’m not joking. First day on her 10 day vacation- and she broke her goddamn foot.
She was a trooper- she walked all the way up to the square- we heard the announcement- saw little beneDICK come out and greet the crowd- then I took her home and got her drunk. Ahh, the healing properties of gin and tonic.
So- The two of them spend most of yesterday in the hospital getting x-rays and a cast put on…. So in true form for them- they are remembering, and learning- to truly, LET GO OF EXPECTATIONS. Fucking hell man- with all they have been thru the two of them are such champs, they are, as we speak with my friend Zoe on a WALKING tour of the coliseum, forum, and the historic center. She may go slow- but she’s still going.
Think I have decided to join them- in their rental car and go up north to Tuscany- to their 5 bedroom rented Villa for a few days. My roommate can watch the pussys, and I could use a little time out of the city- so fuck it, I think I’m gonna do it. Haven’t been out of Rome in ages- and I’ve never been to Pisa or Siena…. So Imma do it. Woo-hoo right?
And with one final note- there is hope for us bastard ex-pats after all- my roommate Penelope, got a job today- a proper job with UK SKY TV- it’s great- good money, travel, the whole nine… she’s gonna get to stay in Italy- and wants to stay in the apartment.
So there’s hope for a couple of over qualified bitches living in the eternal city…. there’s hope.
And fucking hell man there better be, because in the words of an old friend named Hunter- “we’re doing important work here man.”

Yer man Johnny Paul II spent 26 years traveling all over the world peddling his religion like some sicko swill merchant and telling people to fuck with out condoms. Do you know what’s going on in Africa mate? Have ya seen the statistics... it's a fucking bleak scene out there. And to pretend that the church shouldn’t share some of that responsibility is like trying to claim the holocaust didn’t happen. Actually, by condoning the Godly and Biblical teachings of virtue, abstanance before marriage, and marriage between a man and a woman, the Pope and others who condone and seek such avenues, has done the absolute most for the fight against AIDS and HIV.

I’m angry because the world is busting at the seems with over population and aids- and the Vatican maintains that the world’s 1.1 billion Catholics NOT use birth control.
I’m angry because they still preach that if you love someone that is the same sex as you- you are condemned to a life of eternal hell. And as a result the gay people of the world have to fight so much harder to just… have their life to themselves. All the while- people like Rev. Marcial Maciel Degollado of Mexico can get away with sexually abusing at least 8 young boys and the Vatican will do nothing. That makes me fucking angry.

You should have respect for the late Pope. Regardless of religious beliefs, everyone can agree that he was a great human being, and deserves more respect then what you give him.
Why do you possess so much hatred for the Catholic Church? And why is your blame directed at us in particular? Over sixty percent of Africans are Muslim. Why is the blame directed at Catholics? About the use of condoms, how can we stress enough that PRE-MARITAL SEX IS AGAINST OUR RELIGION!!!!!!! And we will not change the 2000+ year old doctrine just to satisfy people and their narcissistic desires! If we did that then we would no longer be the Catholic Church. It is because of unwavering stance that, despite numerous trials that have come our way, the Church has always picked itself up and only become stronger. Our steadfastness is precisely why we have not fallen and scattered. We stick to the truth. Also, something tells me that the people who preach about wanting a more liberal Church still would not attend mass if they got their wish.
Like Anonymous said, the solution in Africa is education. In Uganda, where instead of condoms, the people are taught Catholic morals and virtues like monogamy, the rate of AIDS has dropped. Catholic organizations and volunteers are continuing to educate throughout, but unfortunately, results are not always as positive as in Uganda. That is not the fault of the Church. Also, the African AIDS victims would hardly be receiving relief if it were not for Catholic organizations and nuns who have dedicated their lives to improving the remaining days of those infected with the virus.
As for homosexuality, union is between a man and a woman. Remember, Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve. If people want to perform homosexual acts, they have no business being in the Catholic Church, because the Church’s stance will never change. And about homosexuals f**king in bushes, that is hardly the case. During the gay parade, go to 5th Avenue in New York City - don’t see any bushes there. So in regard to homosexuality and Catholicism, I doubt liberals will ever get their wish, because engaging in homogenital acts in sinful, and always will be.
About child molestation, yes, there are bad Catholic priests, just like there are bad Protestants, bad Muslims, and bad Jews. No escaping that. For every bad Catholic priest, however, there are hundreds of good ones. Child molestation is a problem in all organizations and all countries, but of course, because of the anti-Catholic bias in the media, the Catholic Church is singled out. Oh, and the Vatican does absolutely nothing? And you know this how? Because the liberal media does not report it? Or do you have super-secret inside Vatican sources? I’d do some research.
Catholics do not walk about telling everyone they are wrong. Funny, though, is that not what you are doing? Catholics believe what we believe, and may disagree with non-Catholics, but we don’t condemn them for it. It is in our religion to be tolerant. Speaking about Religious intolerance, I attended a Protestant service once, and the Catholic bashing that occurred was astounding. If you were to attend a Catholic mass, then you would know that this is not what our religion teaches. And this is not me bashing Protestants at all, just stating a fact.
Before you attack the Catholic Church again and make ridiculous claims, I would learn a bit more about the Church, but until you do, don’t speak so much about something you know so little about. I will pray for you to become a Catholic.
